Media Resource Guide

Saturday, 17 November 2012 16:03 Last Updated on Sunday, 18 November 2012 04:00 Written by Admin

Letters to the editor, comment boards on online articles, and radio call-in shows are all important ways to share your message with the broader Canadian public.  Below is a list of prominent media outlets across the country, along with contact information, for your use.

When sharing your thoughts via the media, always be sure to keep these tips in mind:

  • Letters to the editor should aim to be 150 words or less.
  • For ease of readability, use shorter sentences.
  • Focus on a single, easily digestible message.
  • If possible, offer a personal story or anecdote connected to the issue.
  • Find a way to make the issue relevant to Canadians who may have little knowledge of the subject.

Who we are

Canadian Friends of Sabeel (CFOS) is a national support network for Sabeel, Ecumenical Center for Liberation Theology in Jerusalem. Sabeel strives to promote a more accurate international awareness regarding the identity, presence, and witness of Palestinian Christians and the wider Palestinian community, as well as their contemporary concerns. It encourages individuals and groups from around the world to work for a just, comprehensive, and enduring peace informed by truth and empowered by prayer and action.
